Hello Readers,

The last time I posted, I was in the final preparation for the Jamaica National Trials. As you may know, it was a success for me; I made the team in both my events (100m/200m) by virtue of victories in said events.

After the Jamaican Trials, I journeyed to France, where I had two athletic competitions. My first stop was in the city of Reims, which is known for its excellent champagnes. I was scheduled to compete in the 100m, unfortunately, due to a false start on my part I was unable to cpmpete. I really hope to get the opportunity to make it up to the wonderful people of that city next year as their hospitality, efficiency and professionalism was of the highest standard.

From Reims I journeyed to the fashion capital, Paris. I competed in the 100m and finished second. Like in Reims, I had a great time in Paris, although I didn’t indulge in any shopping…lol. Interestingly, the first time I went to a European country to compete it was France back in 1998 at the World Junior Championships, I had no idea it would take me in excess of ten (10) years to return to that country for competition!

My next competition will be later this month in the city of Budapest where I will compete in the 200m.

I am ever thankful to God for His continuous blessings and to my family, friends and fans for their continued support.

“God Bless”
