“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31 NIV)”
The great Bible describes these two commandments as the greatest of the ten given to humanity. Loving The Lord is primary, loving our neighbor is secondary. We cannot claim to love God yet despise our neighbor. If we truly have love in our hearts for The Lord whom we do not see, loving our neighbor who is visible should be easily attainable.
Our neighbor is not limited to the person who lives next door, it refers to all our fellow women and men here on earth. Our actions demonstrate our love or lack of love. It is our duty to embrace love. A heart full of love will yield clear thinking and as a result hinder bias.
Let us keep love in our hearts so that we can prosper and be effective in every areas of our lives.
Until next time?
