That Time Is Fast Approaching
Hello Everyone,
It has been a little while since I posted in my dairy. So here we go: It’s that time of the year again when my mindset and my focus being to rise. It is the time when the butterflies enter the stomach. The reason for this is the outdoor season is here and I am very excited to start competing. My first international competition will be the meet in Jamaica on May 2nd. This is one of the meet I have always looked forward to, the energy is always incredible, I get a chance to compete in front of my loyal Jamaican fans and get some good “home cooking.”
I spent the greater part of one week in March out in Santa Monica, California. My primary sponsor, Adidas brought in its “Super 7” athletes for photo shoot, sampling the 2009 apparels and media interaction. It was a pleasure to mingle with other stars of my brand as well as the media. My coach, Lance Brauman made the trip so I did not miss much in terms of training. “Thank you adi!”
Also, I am happy that Omar is recovering well from his ankle surgery. I am excited from him and I am anxious to see him back in competition.
