Women’s History Month. We have come a long way inching up towards the “glass ceiling.” Let me take the time to salute some of those who have not only paved the way for us but labored tirelessly. Humanitarians such as Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Mary Seacole and Mother Teresa. Sporting pioneers such as Billie Jean King and Althea Gibson. Barrier breakers such as Elizabeth Blackwell, Amelia Earhart, Sirimavo Bandaranaike, Sandra Day O’Connor my utmost respect!
We are not there as yet, however, we are not where we once were. Let us not give up the fight for dignity, respect and equality.
